"My family loved the mix of apples and sausage. The dish was not vinegary for us. The vinegar cooked down to a great sauce which tasted great. I did not use frozen potatoes which took a little longer to cook. We will be cooking this again. "- taylorblasi5

Nissey 5 months agoThis dish is quick and flavorful. I didn't have cider vinegar so I used white wine vinegar. I will definitely make this again.
vbancod 1 year agoDidn't have caraway seeds so I used 1/4 tsp of celery seeds instead. I would have given it more stars however I thought the dish was too sweet. I will make again but cut the sugar by half.

christinalferschke-masten 2 years agoDon't do it! If you hate the taste or smell of vinegar don't even bother! The smell made me nauseated, and my husband and kids couldn't eat more than a bite. It was sandwiches for dinner after this disaster!
1gardengirl 4 years agoYOU CAN EASILY DOUBLE OR TRIPPLE THIS FOR HOWEVER MANY SERVINGS YOU NEED. [I posted this recipe.]
