Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350°. Cook pasta according to package directions (can also use large shells or lasagna noodles). Drain and put on oiled surface.
In a large skillet, brown sausage. Drain fat. While browning, combine ricotta, parmesan and basil in a medium bowl (if using large shells, use more cheeses). Once sausage is browned and cooled slightly, stir into cheese mixture. Using a small spoon, fill pasta with sausage/cheese mixture. Arrange filled pasta in an ungreased 3-quart rectangular baking dish (I like using the disposable foil dishes for easy clean up). Pour marinara over pasta. Cover with mozzarella cheese.
Bake, covered, for 20 minutes. Bake uncovered about 10 minutes more or until heated through and cheese is melted.
