Suggest a better descriptionIn a heavy saucepan, boil potatoes until just tender. Drain.
While potatoes are hot, stir in cheese, melted butter, salt and pepper. Be careful not to break potato slices.
Combine onion, sour cream and pepper. Add to potatoes. Stir carefully.
Place mixture in buttered 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Dot with butter.
Bake at 325 degrees, uncovered for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
