Simple but delicious tacos.
Heat pan on medium heat.
Drop ground beef in pan and cook until brown.
Meanwhile:
Chop up onion and cilantro and mix them together.
Shred a cup of lettuce.
**Any other ingredients you would like to use on the tacos make sure you are preparing everything while the ground beef is browning.**
Once the ground beef is brown drain the excess grease out and add taco seasonings (the packet will tell you how to prepare the meat as well.) **The package says to add 1 3/4 cups of water but i just added one and it was fine, otherwise i think it gets too watery.**
While the beef mixture is simmering, heat another pan on med-high heat.
Coat the entire bottom of the pan with oil.
Take the corn tortillas and pan fry them on each side for 5-10 seconds, then fold in half with tongs or whatever works best for you until each side is a golden brown and holds a taco shell shape.
Place shells on a plate with paper towels on top to drain the excess grease.
Once you have made as many taco shells as you want, you are ready to prepare your tacos as you like.
ENJOY!!
