"My favorite as a kid."
1. Add melted butter and shortening to sugars and cream.
2. Add eggs and almonds.
3. Dissolve baking soda in vinegar add to wet ingredients.
4. Sift flour, salt, cinnamon and add to wet ingredients.
5. Form into rolls and refrigerate until very firm.
6. Slice 1/8 inch thick and bake on greased cookie sheet about 10-12 minutes at 400 (or until lightly brown).
