Wonderful tortilla soup.
Saute onions and garlic in oil until translucent. Add chilis, cumin, and oregano and saute for a few minutes. Add tomatoes and sprinkle with a little salt. Cover and cook gently until tomatoes begin to release juices. Stir occasionally.
Add stock and simmer, covered for about 15 minutes.
Add lime and salt and pepper to taste.
