Suggest a better description0. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
1. Cook pasta according to directions (10-15 minutes for the Cavatappi)
2. Mix milk with Cream of Mushroom in a microwave safe dish, adjusting the amount of milk for the desired consistency. Microwave combined soup/milk for about 2 minutes on high.
3. Add cooked pasta to soup/milk and stir together. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
4. Cook casserole for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
There isn't a replacement for Campbells soup (the generic brands just don't have the same flavor). Also, the type of pasta used in the casserole makes a big difference. We have tried various shells and macaroni but really enjoy the Cavatappi.
