ADD FLOUR TO SHORTENING OR SALAD OIL; STIR UNTIL SMOOTH. 5. ADD SOUP AND GRAVY BASE TO BOILING WATER. ADD SHORTENING OR SALAD OIL AND FLOUR MIXTURE TO BOILING LIQUID, STIRRING CONTANTLY. 6.
