My Father and I came up with this when I was young... to this day, my kids make it all the time for a quick snack or for Football parties.
Snack or Meal, there is plenty left over and it tastes just as good reheated.
Cook the ground beef/turkey and sausage together in skillet.
Drain Grease
Chop up the Velveeta Cheese in blocks and place in areas around the cooked beef to melt throughout.
Add salsa a 1/4 jar at a time, stir to get the ingredients mixed well.
Add Salt & Pepper to taste.
Serve
Depending on how Hot n' Spicy you like your dips, choose your fav Sausage/Velveeta/Salsa to get that extra Kick that you like.
I normally find the balance with Medium chunky salsa with mild sausage.
This dip will taste just like a taco mix. We have used leftovers to put right on hard and soft shell tacos.
Enjoy
