These All-American Burgers are wonderfully constructed, in only a way that perfection can do.
Preheat grill or pan to medium heat.
In a mixing bowl, mix beef, seasoned salt, pepper, onion and Italian dressing together using your hands.
Refrigerate for 20-30 mins while you cut fresh toppings.
On wax paper, form into 4 evenly sized 1/4 pound patties.
Place on preheated grill or pan and cook evenly on both sides, turning often.
When burger is cooked through, place on bun, top. then serve.
Using an egg ring helps form a perfectly round and consistently thick burger!!
Dress with fresh toppings as desired!!
If you like your food spicy, try using a hot sausage and pepper jack cheese. Or mix in some crushed red pepper!!
Searing each side of the burger helps keep in some flavor. To sear the burger, preheat your grill or pan to medium-high heat, cook each side for 1 minute, then turn heat down to low-medium and finish to your liking!!
You can substitute in white or yellow onion if you'd like!!
You can mix in cooked crushed bacon too!!
You can use fresh ground chicken or turkey too!!
The fattier the meat, the more it will shrink while cooking, so compensate!
