Great cancer fighting and brain healthy ingredients in a comfort food! Great natural source of vitamin E!
Blend broccoli, peeled garlic cloves and water in blender. Let sit in fridge for as long as possible. This helps release the active cancer fighting ingredients in the broccoli and garlic after chopping in blender. When ready to make soup, preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grind almonds and roast in oven for just a few minutes (3-4), careful not to burn. Place all blended ingredients in pot, bring to a gentle boil and reduce heat. Add almond milk, nutmeg and salt and simmer on low for additional 15-20 minutes until soup has reduced to desired thickness and serve with ground almonds sprinkled on top.
