A delicious sugar cookie with a hint of almond flavor.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and eggs.
Add the vanilla and almond extract and mix well.
In another mixing bowl, sift together the flour and the baking powder.
Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture (butter, sugar, eggs, etc.), incorporate well.
Cover and chill for 3-4 hours.
On a well floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
Using cookie cutter shapes of your choice, cut out cookies and place them well spaced on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Let cool, decorate as desired.
