Cream butter, add sugar gradually.
Add well beaten egg.
Sift flour, measure and sift wlm baking powder.
Add to first mixture.
Toss 1/2 of mllcture on floured board and roll to 1/8" thickness.
Cut with doughnut cutter.
Brush with white of egg and sprinkle with sugar.
Split almonds and place three halves oli each wafer at equal distances apart.
Place on greased sheet and bake at 315 degrees for about 8 minutes.
