Place onion rings into the bowl with icy cold water and let them sit 15-20 minutes.
Drain the onion rings and dry them using a kitchen towel.
In a shallow bowl, combine the sifted flour together with the baking soda, baking powder, and salt flakes.
Coat each onion ring with the flour mixture.
In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs with milk, add the mixture to the remaining flour mixture and whisk well. Dredge the coated onion rings into this batter.
In a third bowl, mix the seasoned breadcrumbs, green peppercorns, dill and paprika. Roll the onion rings over the breadcrumb mix, covering well.
Air fry them in cooking basket 8-11 minutes or until golden brown.
