Suggest a better description1. In a 12 inch skillet, cook the bacon over medium-high heat until it is crisp. Drain it on paper towels.
2. Core & finely chop one of the apples. Combine the apples in a large mixing bowl with the beef & sausage. Shape the meat mixture into four 1/2 inch thick patties.
3. Grill directly over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes per sdie or until there is no longer any pink remaining.
4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, dijon mustard & honey.
5. Core & slice the remaining apple.
6. To assemble the burgers: Layer apple slices & the grilled burgers on the toasted kaiser roll bottoms. Top each burger with one & a half slices of bacon. Spread a generous layer of the mayonnaise mixture on the cut side of the bun tops before placing them on top of the burgers.
