Suggest a better descriptionPreheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Arrange the pastry an a baking sheet, top with the apples forming concentric circles and sprinkle with sugar. Dot with the butter and bake for 30 minutes, or until pastry is golden. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan combine the apricot preserves with the Calvados, bring to a boil and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, or until smooth and thick.
