Suggest a better descriptionHEAT oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, toss apples, sugar, 1/3 cup flour, orange juice, zest, cinnamon, 1/2 tsp salt and vanilla seeds. Fit piecrust into a 9" pie pan, crimp edges. Transfer apples to crust, cover pie with foil, bake 30 min. In a food processor or blender, pulse gingersnaps, remaining flour and salt until ground, transfer to a bowl. BLEND in butter until mixture resembles wet sand. Remove pie from oven, reduce temp to 350 degrees. Sprinkle pie with ginger and gingersnap mixture, cover with foil, bake until apples are tender 30 min. Let cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before SERVING...
