Easy and so good
Combine sugar, flour, spices and salt. Mix with apples.
Need 2 pastry crusts for 9" pie pan. Line pie pan with pastry. Fill wth Apple mixture. Dot butter on Apple mixture. Put top crust on. Wet top crust with milk. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon. Bake 400 degrees for 50 minutes or til done.
Crust tips:
Cut both crusts about 3/4-1" larger than plate. Turn both crusts under to prevent leaking.
Make 3 cuts 6" long and poke fork holes to allow air in.
