Betty Crocker Apple Pie
Measure flour and salt into the bowl. Cut in shortening. Sprinkle with water. Gather dough in a ball and roll out to create a crust.
Heat oven to 425. Stir together sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinanmon and salt. Mix with apples. Turn into pastry lined pie pan. Dot with butter and cover with top crust.
Cover edge with foil to prevent excessive burning. Remove foil for last 15 minutes of baking. Bake 40-50 minutes.
