Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
To prepare the Brie or Camembert, use a sharp knife to remove the top rind from the cheese. Leave the rind on the sides and bottom. Place the cheese cut side up in a similar size baking dish or Brie Baker.
Peel and chop approximately 1/8 cup of firm apple. Chop pecans. The consistency of each should be very small pieces. Combine all toppings in a small microwave safe dish and heat for 1 minute. Spread the topping evenly over the top of the brie/camembert.
Place in the center of a 350 degree F oven and heat for 15-20 minutes. Check after 15 minutes and if not ready add another 5. Do not overcook as it will turn buttery.
Serve warm with toasted baguette slices, slices or apple or pear or crackers.
