This is my daddy's macaroni and cheese recipe.
Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and return to saucepan. Add butter, 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese, and egg. Blend with a spatula and spoon into a buttered casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and pour milk over the macaroni mixture.
Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until brown.
