The best Potato soup ever

Wash potatoes and prick several times with a fork, bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Let cool. Cut potatoes in haft length wise, then scoop out pulp. Melt butter in heavy sauces pan over low heat, add all purpose flour, stir until smooth. Cook 1 minute stirring constantly. Gradually add 6 cups of milk, cook over med heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened & bubbly. Add potatoes , salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons green onions, 1 cup cheese, 1/2 cup bacon. Cook until heated, stir in sour cream. Add more milk if to thick, Serve with remaining onion, bacon and cheese.
