Suggest a better descriptionMix the yogurt, cumin seeds, cardamoms, peppercorns, garam masala, cinnamon stick, ground almonds, garlic, ginger, chili powder and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Add the chicken pieces and stir to coat. Seal the container and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Heat the oil in a large wok or deep pan. Add the onions and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Tip in the chicken mixture and stir until it's well blended with the onions.
Cook for 12-15 minutes over a medium heat until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
Add the green chilies and fresh cilantro, and pour in the cream. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and serve garnished with more cilantro if you like.
Note: I included a recipe for Garam Masala in case you can't find it in the store! It's just a mixture of other spices, simply mix together and store in a dry place!
