Combine all ingredients. Soak bread slices in this mixture until absorbed, use large 9x13 pan. Heat griddle and grease-325/350 degrees. Cook slices until browned on both sides, flipping once.
Use a French loaf and slice it thickly. If using sliced sandwich bread do not soak for very long in mixture and it will make many more slices.
