Beef Dish in the slow cooker
Brown top round pieces in hot oil in a large
skillet about 10 minutes. Move meat to a 5- to
7-quart slow cooker; top with onions. Sprinkle
gravy mix over the top. Pour wine,
Worcestershire sauce, and ½ cup water over
the top. Cover and cook on Low 7 to 8 hours or
High 4 to 5 hours, checking periodically and
adding water if necessary. Serve over cheese
grits
