Suggest a better description• Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
•Heat enchilada sauce in a medium sauce pan.
• Add cornstarch / water mixture to enchilada sauce to thicken.
• Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in pan and season with salt, pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Add can of diced green chilis when complete.
• Coat bottom of 9x13 baking dish with a layer of enchilada sauce
Build Enchiladas:
• Coat inside of tortilla shell with enchilada sauce
• Add beef
• Add Monterey Jack shredded cheese
• Roll tortilla and place in baking dish
• Cover built enchiladas with any left over meat and coat with enchilada sauce
• Top with Monterey Jack cheese and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
• Remove from oven and garnish with cilantro
