Beef filet cooked in aromatic spices with thick gravy.
* Dry Roast all listed ingredients except ground coconut & dried chickpeas on low flame. Take off heat when it becomes aromatic.
* Add Chana and ground coconut and keep stirring while keeping it off stove.
* Let it cool down then ground into fine powder.
* Add it to Pasanday along with ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix thoroughly. Let it marinate for at least an hour.
* Heat oil in the cooking pot and fry onion in it until light brown, then take out.
* In the same oil, add marinated meat and fry thoroughly for 5 minutes.
* Then add a glass of water and cook for 40 minutes or until meat is well cooked. Add more water if needed.
* Grind fried onion in Yougart and add to the pot. Cook until oil separates.
* Optional: Add some water if gravy is too thick for your liking.
* Add garam masala powder and fresh coriander leaves. Mix and cover.
* Leave on low flame for 5 minutes.
Ready to serve.
