Basic Beer Bread recipe that you can add your own flare too anytime for a QUICK and easy appetizer!
Combine flour, beer and sugar together in a large mixing bowl. The batter will rise suddenly so be sure to have a large enough bowl to mix and allow rising.
Pour batter into baking dish and pour melted butter over the top of the bread.
At this point, you can add spices or cheese to the batter.
I added 2 TBS of Italian seasoning and 1/4 cup parmesean cheese for my Italian themed dinner and served the bread with a Marinara dipping sauce.
For the plain bread I used a dipping sauce made of Sour cream, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing and celery salt.
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes in a 9x5 pan. I also used 2 round cake pans and seperated the batter into each with different spices for a variety of appetizers.
