My dad's favorite cookies!
Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and molasses. Sift flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix. Stir in oats, nuts, and raisins. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees. If you want cookies to eat right now, bake 7-9 minutes or until peaks turn golden brown. If you want real "bendy" cookies, bake 10-12 minutes and cool completely. Then place in a airtight container or tin and let sit one week or until they are "bendy."
