The go-to brownie recipe
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour pan
2. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla extract.
3. Beat in cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder.
4. Spread batter into pre-prepared baking pan.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. DO NOT OVERCOOK.
Makes 12 individual brownies. Sift flour, cocoa powder and baking powder into butter/egg/sugar slurry. Check doneness after 15 minutes and do the toothpick test.
