Quick, easy, and very kid-friendly. My family considers them an essential ingredient in spaghetti sauce, but my favorite way to serve them is in a meatball sub.
Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine egg, bread crumbs, garlic salt, and pepper. Add ground beef and mix well. Shape into 24 meatballs, about 1 1/4-inch in diameter. Arrange in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes, turning once with tongs. Remove from oven and place on paper towels to drain grease.
Serve with spaghetti and tomato sauce, or egg noodles and Alfredo sauce--or in any recipe that calls for meatballs. For something a little different, check out my "Yummy Meatball Subs" here on BigOven.
