Preheat oven to 400, with rack in top 1/3 of oven. Line a baking sheet with foil or silicone mat and place a wire rack on top.
In a small bowl, stir together brown sugar, black pepper and red pepper flakes.
Lay the bacon slices on the rack. Spread brown sugar mixture evenly over the bacon.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, rotating the bacon sheet halfway. The bacon is done when it is crispy and glazed.
Remove baking sheet from oven and cool for 5 minutes on the rack.
