Suggest a better descriptionPeel and cut sweet potatoes. Cover sweet potatoes with salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for approximately 15 minutes, or until just done, not mushy. Drain sweet potatoes and put into a bowl and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and add brown sugar and spices. Cook 6 to 8 minutes, until well combined. Remove from heat and add bourbon. Stir until well blended. Pour mixture over the sweet potatoes and toss gently until we'll blended.
Place in an ovenproof casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes or until sweet potatoes are glazed.
Remove from oven and serve.
