1. Cream Shortening/Butter, Sugar, Egg, and Molasses. Add remaining ingredients and chill for several hours
2. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
3. Place cookie dough balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes or until the bottom is lightly brown. best if baked until chewy, not crunchy. DONT OVERCOOK
