Garlic green beans, with a nice char
Toss beans, salt, garlic and oil until beans are well coated. Spread in an even layer on a cookie sheet. Broil in the oven on high for about five minutes, or until beans begin to char. Be sure to watch that they don't burn! Beans will be crispy crunchy and just done.
This recipe can be used to grill the beans on a stovetop grill instead of putting them under the broiler.
