Pour boiling water over shredded wheat biscuits and let set.
Combine 3/4 Cup lukewarm water, 1 Tablespoon sugar and 2 packages yeast.
Add shortening, molasses and salt to shredded wheat mixture.
Once shredded wheat mixture has cooled, add yeast mixture to the mix.
Incorporate 5-6 Cups flour and the raisins until dough is no longer sticky.
Knead dough until proper consistency and then cover and let set until double in size.
Shape and put in loaf pans.
Make 2 double bun loaves and a small single loaf.
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Bake for 45-50 minutes.
Brush top of loaves with butter once removed from oven.
