Adjust BBQ sauce and liquid smoke according to number racks cooked. 1 jar of BBQ and 1 bottle of liquid smoke generally covers 4 racks of ribs.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Brush on liquid smoke on both sides. Lightly garlic salt and pepper both sides. Place seasoned ribs in baking pans, bone side up. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes and remove. Place ribs bone side down, lower oven temp to 350 degrees F. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour. Remove ribs from oven and brush on BBQ sauce on top of ribs. Lower oven to 200 degrees F. cover ribs and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
