Your relaxed attitude while making this chili is the most important ingredient. If you are not relaxed, find someone who is, and have them make it for you. When it is done, have some; it will help you to relax. Once the first batch is made, save one serving to help you relax the next time you make it.
Instructions:
Note; the relaxed attitude is used all through the preparation.
Brown the beef along with the venison. Drain or spoon out the grease.
Add the chopped bell peppers and return to low-medium heat (to sauté) for a few minutes (you can’t get it wrong).
Add the mushrooms, onion and sauté while you open the cans of beans and tomatoes (rush or take your time; relax, you can’t get it wrong).
Add beans and tomato.
Sprinkle some (roughly 1/3 of the packet) chili seasoning on the top, mix it in and repeat until the packet is empty.
Add water to desired consistency.
Spiciness can depend on the ingredients. You can buy the spicy beans or tomato... Your preference; you can't get it wrong.
Simmer for 30 minutes (or until you can’t wait any longer).
If it ain’t perfect, you’re gonna eat it anyway. With this attitude, you will never get it wrong.
Relax...
This website asked for pictures. I don't have any. Just imagination what a perfect bowl of chili looks like. Maybe it has a beer next to it...
