Suggest a better descriptionThe first thing you do is spray your crock pot with cooking spray. Then, you put in one jar (about two cups) of salsa into the pot. Then put in two tablespoons of chili powder and two tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder. Stir. Then add either two pounds of frozen chicken or thawed pork tenderloin. Spoon a little of the sauce over the top of the meat. Cook on low for about 4 - 8 hours.
This is a great meal! We love it.
Serving suggestion: We eat this on tortillas with sour cream, chopped cilantro and lime. Sometimes we use salsa.
