Suggest a better descriptionGrease a baking dish. In a skillet, heat butter. Add peppers and a pinch salt, cook until peppers are softened. Stir in parsley and 1 1/2 tbs chives. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, salt and pepper. Whisk in milk. -In a dish, arrange 3 bread slices in a single layer. Top with pepper mixture and 1/2 cup cheese, then remaining bread. Pour in egg mixture, top with remaining cheese. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake until browned 45 min. Let cool 10 min. Sprinkle with remaining chives.
