4.) Mix heavy cream, cheese, salt, pepper, onions and garlic.
5.) Add thinly sliced potatoes.
6.) Pour the potato mixture into the dish. Pat down and add Parmesan cheese on the top with 1/4 c. Thinly sliced butter pieces.
7.) Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
