Easier and delicious alternative!
- place chick in pot with water to cook
- chop onion and bell pepper, add to pot with chicken
- add garlic salt and chicken bouillon
- cook for one hour or until chicken is no longer pink
- preheat oven to 350 degrees
- shred chicken and place in bottom of 11x7 dish
- whisk together flour, milk, & butter
- pour evenly over chicken
- whisk together broth (best to use what the chicken was cooked in), soup, salt, pepper
- pour over flour mix and chicken
DO NOT STIR
- cook 50 minutes and let cool
Don't be alarmed if it does not look thick enough when first removing from oven, dumplings will rise to the top and casserole will thicken.
