Suggest a better descriptionCombine egg, 1 ranch packet and buttermilk in a large ziplock. Mix together and add cube steak. Marinate for 1 hour turning occasionally.
Combine flour, the other ranch packet and pepper to taste in a large dish. Drain steaks and coat them with the flour mixture then dip in egg and back into flour mixture. Fry in oil heated to 350 degrees for 4 minutes on each side.
Gravy: Mix together one cup buttermilk, one cup broth and gravy mix. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Homemade country gravy: 1/2 C Canola oil, 3/4 C Flour, 1 t Salt, 1 t pepper, 1/2 t Garlic powder and 4 C Milk.
Heat oil. Whisk flour, salt pepper and garlic till smooth. Cook until browned (10 min) gradually stir in milk to desired thickness.
