Mom's chicken tortilla soup
1. Put vegetable oil in pan with onion, celery, and red bell pepper. Soften those veggies up.
2. Using the stock from the whole chicken you cooked(or store bought stock), begin adding the other ingredients.
3. Simmer for few hours
Garnish with sour cream, cheese, chips, and green onions bits.
Mom doesn't use 2 TBSP of Tomato Past or Cilantro
After it has been refrigerated add chicken stock to thin it out otherwise it is too thick.
