great game day recipe for a crowd!
1. combine ground beef, onions, green peppers and garlic in large pan.
2. add chili, cumin, salt and pepper
3. brown meat on medium heat and cook until veggies are soft, about 15 minutes
4. add tomatoes and beans
5. let simmer on low for at least an hour ( when done, pour chili into casserole dish if you don't have a dutch oven or oven safe pot)
6. top with 1/2 cup to 1 cup shredded cheese
7. prepare cornbread batter according to package instructions
8. top chili with cornbread batter
9. bake in oven at 350 for about 25 minutes. Keep an eye - time will vary
10. top with remaining cheese and put it under the broiler for a minute or two until the cheese is bubbly.
