Suggest a better description*** Pan fry ground beef, onion and green pepper in skillet until meat is brown. Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients except beans and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until thick (about 1 hour). Stir in beans and heat. For dried kidney beans; use 1/2 lb (for standard serving size). Wash, and cover with boiling water. Cook 2 minutes and remove from heat. Soak for 1 hour then bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer till tender.
