Heat oil in a large pot
Add onion and peppers, saute until onions are clear but not brown (4)
Add rest of the ingredients except beans.
Add water to desired thickness
Bring to boil then reduce heat to simmer and cover (3)
Cook over low heat for 30 min (2)
Drain and rinse beans and add to pot at after 30 min period. Cook for an additional 15-20 min.
