Combine flour, baking. powder & salt in a small bowl. Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add eggs and beat until smooth.
Slowly add butermilk. and dry ingrediants. Mix together well. Add chocolate chips.Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.Allow to
stand a few minutes before removing.
For a lower calorie version replace :
One half of the butter with applesauce
One whole egg and the rest with Egg Beaters
