preheat oven to 325.
in one bowl, beat egg whites with tartar. add 1/4 sugar until stiff. set aside.
melt chocolate and margarine together.
in a seperate bowl, beat yolks - add 3/4 cups sugar. gradually beat in warm chocolate mixture and vanilla.
fold whites into chocolate mixture.
pour 3/4 of mixture into springform pan and put remains in fridge.
bake for 30 minutes. let cool
whip up the whip. set aside.
once the cake has cooled, cover with remaining chocolate mixture. spread whip on top of chocolate.
store in freezer.
