Step 1:
4 Katori Chole soaked
1/2 katori chana dal
4 Roma tomatoes
Salt to taste
Boil all this in pressure cooker and keep aside
Step 2:
In a bowl make this mixture and set aside for 5 minutes
Everest Chole masala
Dhaniya powder
Haldi
Water
Step 3:
In a pan add oil or ghee
Add to warm oil/ghee
Big ilaichi
Small ilaichi
Tej Patta
Dal Chini
Laung
Jeera
Heeng
Cook for a minute until jeera is popped and right color
Add finely chopped ginger to the masala
Step 4:
Add red pepper first then add the water spice mixture and continue to cook until the oil is released.
Add the prepared Chole mixture from the pressure cooker and continue to cook on slow heat for as long as you need to. Once it reaches the right consistency turn of the heat. Serve with chopped raw Onions, lemon, green chilies.
